The Stump Grinding Process

Typical Residential Tree and Stump Removal

  1. Remove Limbs

When a Tree has gotten too large for its allotted space, it has to be removed.

2. Trunk is Cut

Remaining Above-ground Tree is removed as close to the ground as possible

3. Machinery

Stump Grinder is moved into position and the Cutting Wheel turned on

4. Stump Removal

Using a sweeping motion, the stump is ground up in multiple passes. The wood chips start to pile up.

5. Nearing Completion

Larger stumps require repositioning the machine and removing the excess debris. This stump was removed in one direction.

6. Job is Finished

You are left with a pile of wood chips to use as mulch. The area can now be cleared and improved as desired.
